NEW: Canada Introduces Visa-free Travel for 13 Countries

Today, Minister Sean Fraser made the announcement that passport holders from the following 13 countries will be able to travel to Canada by air without requiring a Temporary Resident Visa. Although this is incredible news for the following citizens, this only applies to travellers from these countries who have either held a Canadian visa in the last 10 years or who currently hold a valid United States non-immigrant visa. Eligible travellers from the following countries now qualify for visa-free travel to Canada.

·        Antigua & Barbuda

·        Argentina

·        Costa Rica

·        Morocco

·        Panama

·        Philippines

·        St. Kitts & Nevis

·        St. Lucia

·        St. Vincent and the Grenadines

·        Seychelles

·        Thailand

·        Trinidad & Tobago

·        Uruguay

This addition will make it faster, easier, and more affordable for people looking to visit, do business or reunite with family and friends. If applicants already have a valid visa, they shall continue to use it to travel to Canada. Those who are not eligible for an eTA, or who are travelling to Canada by car, bus, train and boat (including by cruise ship), will still need a visitor visa.

Book a consultation to assess whether you are eligible for an eTA and how to apply.
